I recently volunteered for a gala to support and raise funds for diabetes research. The best part about going to a fancy function is picking out the items I intend on wearing. That was always the most fun part about dances in school, too. I found a beautiful pair of cubic zirconia stud earrings that I loved first. So, I knew I wanted to find a dress that worked with them. I did find a pretty teal dress that had a scoop neck and tiny sparkles in the material so it highlighted the cubic zirconia stud earrings perfectly. I knew I did not want a necklace as that may be too much so I went shopping for a cubic zirconia solitaire ring. I thought a ring would be an additional perfect accent without adding too much jewelry. I finally found one at this outlet mall who had a huge collection of cheap jewelry. I found a cubic zirconia solitaire ring for $20.00. I know I can wear it to other functions as well, so that is a plus. I love “fake” jewelry. I got my entire wardrobe for the gala for around $100.00. My cubic zirconia stud earrings can be worn with a casual outfit in the future too, so it was a great investment!
